‘Shabbat 250' - President Trump National Shabbath Honoring America’s 250th Birthday

This past weekend they had ‘Shabbat 250' and also the ‘Reenergizing back to God’ that took place on Sunday. What I want to do is to show you a couple of videos that took place that centers around the Sabbath Day and commitment to God. I think that when you see these videos I think it will come to light that God is working with us in bringing about fulfillment of prophecy.

So let's play that first video, the ‘250 Rededication..’

The ‘250 Rededication’

Marco Rubio is speaking: "On this day, two and a half centuries ago, our forefathers gathered for the second time in as many years for a national day of fasting and prayer. The resolution of the Continental Congress called on the 13 colonies to humble themselves in preparation for the coming war.

The founders were not naive men. They had no guarantees of victory. They knew that what they were trying to do had never been done before in human history.

But with the dark storm clouds of war looming on the horizon, they did what Christians have always done, across place and time for 2,000 years. They turned their eyes to heaven and placed their fate in the hands of God. This is who we are.

It is who we have always been. America is still a young nation measured against the record of history. And from the beginning, we have carried the belief that our country represents something new in the world.

But the soul of our nation, has always been rooted in an ancient faith."

The Faith of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Tom Kerry is speaking: " I thought that was short and to the point. It's about a minute long. Going back to our roots and you look at the founders of this nation, many, not all, but many of them were deeply devoted. Many were pastors serving congregations.

Justice Thomas

The second video now is from Justice Thomas, which I thought was very important. It's short, but it says a lot in a short span of time now. Let's play that second video.

Justice Thomas is now speaking: "The second paragraph of the declaration proclaims, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights."

Throughout my youth, these truths were articles of faith that were impervious to bigotry and discrimination. The American Heritage Dictionary of English Language defines "self-evident" as obviously true and requiring no proof, argument, or explanation."

Whether they had a divine source or a worldly one, they were never questioned. They were the holy grail, the north star, the rock, immovable and unquestioned.

Despite the multiplicity of laws and customs that wreaked of bigotry, it was universally believed among those blacks with whom I lived, and who had very little or no formal education, that in God's eyes and under our Constitution, we were equal."

Tom Kerry is speaking: And under God's eyes, all men are created equal, and God is not a respecter of persons.

That was the foundation of what this country began with and should have began with right from the very beginning.

President Trump from the Oval Office

Now, what I want to do now is I'm going to play this next video here. This is from President Trump from the Oval Office.

So let me set it up before we actually see it. To my understanding, this is the first time a sitting president has ever done something like this from the Oval Office. The scripture that he chose to use is one that's familiar to most people today in 2 Chronicles, chapter 7 and verse 14, where God says, "If My people who are called by My name repent," and God says, "I will hear," that's normally where most people who quote that chapter stops.

They're talking about the rededication back to God if the nation repents. But Donald Trump didn't do that this time. He went all the way through to the end of the chapter.

And I believe if we're reading this correctly, this may be God's final warning before He begins to bring about the end of all matters for the return of Jesus Christ. So let me explain what I mean by that, when you see this, throughout the ages, through history, through Israel, is when God decided to do something, He went to that person, the head of state, the king of the nation, and He was warning or blessing that king, depending on what they were doing.

That nation needed to be warned. And God said it wouldn't be by power or by might, but it would by my Holy Spirit.

So with that, let's play this video, it's about three minutes long, and President Trump will be reading the Scripture. Try to understand the content of what he said, where he said it, and the final verse of that chapter.

President Trump is talking and quoting 2 Chronicles 7 beginning in verse 11: "Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the king's house, and all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house he prosperously effected. And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night and said to him, "I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself, for a house of sacrifice. If I shut up heaven, that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people, If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now my eyes shall be open, and my ears attend to the prayer that is made in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there forever and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.

And as for you, if you will walk before me, as David your father walked and do according to all that I have commanded you, and shall observe my statutes and my judgments, then will I establish the throne of my kingdom, according to as I have covenanted with David your father, saying there shall not fail you, a man to be ruler in Israel. But if you turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods and worship them, then will I pluck them up from the roots out of my land, which I have given them. And this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among nations."

"And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to everyone that passes by it so that he shall say, "Why has the LORD done this to this land, and to this house?" {22} And it shall be answered, "Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them. Therefore, He has brought all this evil upon them."

When We Look At Prophecy

Tom Kerry is speaking: When we look at prophecy, what God proclaims is going to happen, the warnings are clear of what's taking place. We believe that this nation, when you look at all the blessings it has, has been preserved and blessed by God.

They've been brought about through the promises all the way back to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and that America, America's house is the fulfilled promise that God gave to those forefathers centuries and centuries ago.

The warning comes today because this nation has turned its back on God. This rededication is showing that there needs to be a resurgent back to God.

And yet we don't see that, but only in a handful of people across this nation, taking place right now. So the warning is, as God said, "If this house that God has blessed does not turn to God, then He's going to pluck it out." And through prophecy, we understand what's coming, the end time, unless this nation does repent, has seen its final days before the return of Jesus Christ.

250 Year Shabbat

There are two more things that happened here that we need to bring out that associate with what President Trump just said there. This is the proclamation of observing the Sabbath day. And so what we see here is across America, Jews, the Jewish communities participated in a once in a 250 year Shabbat all across the nation.

This took place on Friday sunset to Saturday sunset, what they understand as a Jewish Sabbath, but as we said last week, we told everyone that it is God’s Sabbath not just the Jews’ Sabbath. See Leviticus 23 verse 3. It's not reserved for one person or another. It's for all, one law for all people.

Charlie Kirk

Now let's take this back just about a year or so ago to Charlie Kirk in his, his last book that he wrote before he was assassinated. The name of his book he was talking about is "Stop in the name of God" about the Sabbath day.

So let me play this video, one or two more videos on the Sabbath day, and I'm going to pull this all together to make a point.

Let's play that video.

The interviewer says to Charlie Kirk, "So Charlie Kirk, little bit of your background, religious background."

Charlie Kirk is speaking, "Yeah. Its an honor to be here and thank you. The Sabbath is one of my favorite topics to talk about, honestly, because, I'm so sick of talking about politics all day long. It's all I do.

So it drives me crazy. This is actually way more important than that. And I could tie the two together, if necessary, but we don't have to.

It's more important that I grew up in a Presbyterian background. I then, we left that church. We went to what could be best called as a Bible believing evangelical church.

So not quite Calvinist, not Pentecostal somewhere in the middle. Look, we believe many of the same stuff, guys. I believe in the inerrancy of scripture.

I believe you need Jesus Christ. I believe in grace, not works. I believe that there is heaven awaiting us. I believe in an afterlife. I believe in a God that created the heavens and the earth.

However, I grew up in a church environment that at the very best would deemphasize the Shabbat at the very worst to say that the Sabbath doesn't really matter. The Sabbath is in your heart. You don't need to observe it. And the story is quite long.

Stop in the Name of God

I'm actually writing my next book on the Sabbath. It's called "Stop in the name of God," because Shabbat means ‘stop or ceasing.’ So I'm not here to sell you a book. It's not even for sale yet. It's just something to think about. And it's honestly how the Sabbath saved my life and helped preserve my family and help preserve my career.

And so two things, number one, the pastor that I really care about, pastor David Englehart, he's one of our board members at Turning Point USA.

I was exhausted. It was the summer of 2021. I sat down with him. I said, I'm not sleeping well. I'm fatigued. And he asked me very bluntly, "Are you honoring the Sabbath?" And I gave him very weak theological arguments, honestly. "Oh, I'm not bound to that", or no, "I'm not really interested in that." "I don't have to do that." And he really challenged me and I didn't have good responses to be perfectly honest with you.

And pairing that with my very good friend, who is Jewish, who right now is going through a very difficult health trial, Dennis Prager, who I believe is the premier Torah teacher of this generation.

He's amazing. He's a phenomenal mind. And if you don't know Dennis Prager, on the Sabbath, you guys would really appreciate Dennis Prager because he has brought the teachings of the Sabbath to more millions of people than almost anybody alive. And I hope to carry on that tradition. He would always talk about the Shabbat, always talking about the Sabbath. And I found myself after a couple of years of hearing this, getting really jealous of him being like that. I would think, "Wait a second, you're able to just unplug for one day and not work and be with friends and family and worship God."

I want that. And I would start to get really jealous in the worst possible way. And then I realized, it's not something you go and purchase at the store. It's not something that you have to take out a loan for.

It's simply the prioritization of the question of who's in charge? It's that simple. And if you believe God is in charge and if you believe Genesis 1:1, because the Shabbat is a question of whether or not you believe Genesis 1:1, and if you believe Genesis 1:1, then you honor the Sabbath. If you have questions about Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth", which is contemptable, right? It's the first truth claim of the scriptures. Then on the seventh day you rest because God created the heavens and the earth.

It is the longest standing celebration of time of the creation of the heavens and the earth. And so that realization changed my life. I could talk about this from many different dimensions, what it's meant for me personally, what it means on the macro.

I also go to churches across the country. I speak at hundreds of churches of all different denominations, and I will challenge the Christian Church because I believe, this is the most ignored commandment of the Decalogue to our own detriment. And I will go a step further and then I'll stop talking because I know we have a whole program, which is that I believe that honoring the Sabbath is the commandment that allows you to honor the other nine commandments and that the enemy has gone after the honoring the Sabbath because, then, it is easier to weaken the other nine."

Tom Kerry is speaking: One of the things that became readily apparent after the warnings that God gave Israel is when He brought the Israelites out of Egypt, one of the first things he taught them was about the Sabbath day (Exodus 16).

When God created man, as you just heard in that video, on the seventh day He rested. Well, that was right after he created man, He rested and he sanctified and set that day apart, and it's a weekly holy day (Genesis 2:1-2).

So, what we're looking at here, I believe, is the actual foundation now that God from his own throne, from the highest office of the land now, has been given a warning to repent, to return to Him, and those who are listening today are going to be hearing about the Sabbath. Now, I don't mean today as just this program. I mean hearing today in the day of the time we live today.

It's because, see Revelation 7 and verse 1, there's an innumerable multitude that God says is going to come out of tribulation, and those coming out of the tribulations, one of the first things they're going to have to recognize when they come to repentance to God, is the Sabbath day. It is the most difficult of the commandments that you would think to be able to do because once you keep the Sabbath day, it separates you from the rest of the world, because the rest of the world is tied to Sunday worship, a counterfeit worship day that was brought about through the Catholics in 325 A.D., and has been that way ever since.

So now, I've got another video, this is a shorter video, so let me read to you, first of all, Malachi 3 verses 16-18. "Then they that feared the LORD spoke often one to another, and the LORD hearkened and He heard it. And a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the LORD and that thought upon His name. Then shall you return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that serves not."

So, the people who are trying to follow God will be speaking to one another, and one of the things that's going to separate the truth from a lie is Sabbath worship.

Play that little short video of Charlie Kirk now.

Charlie Kirk is speaking: " Phone off for one day. No contact, no social media, no work, your mental health will improve dramatically. So every Friday night, at sunset, when the Sabbath begins, I turn off my phone, from Friday night to Saturday night, the world cannot reach me and I get nothing from the world, it will bless you infinitely. And I could be traveling for five or six days, but if I at least get one good Sabbath with my family, it charges all back up.

Charlie Kirk’s wife is now speaking: "When Charlie turns his phone off and it goes in that drawer, he's all on for the family. There is no distractions and he is finally gets to reset his brain. He finally gets to breathe. And as a wife, there is nothing more precious than my husband's sanity when it comes to everything that he's dealing with in this world. So, I have seen it change him and impact our family in one of the most beautiful ways."

Charlie Kirk is speaking: "It's made our family much tighter knit. It says very clearly in the scriptures, "for six days you shall work and the seventh day you shall rest." It was important enough that God put it as one of the Ten Commandments and God rested after creation. Go back to God's natural rhythm and that is a day to go be with God and be out of the busyness and the hurriedness, noise of this world."

Tom Kerry is speaking: "It's amazing how we're told to take the time off and to be with family, because that's exactly what God did in Genesis. On the seventh day God rested and He made that time, that day, holy.

That is exactly what God did when he created mankind. He rested on the Sabbath day and He spent it with His family and He's been doing that ever since.

The Shadow of the Fifth Seal

Now, take a look at this. Leading into the shadow of the fifth seal, Revelation 6 verses 9 through 11.

When the Lamb Jesus Christ opened the fifth seal he (John) saw under the altar the souls that were slain for the word of God, for the testimony which they held, and {10} they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O LORD, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? {11} And white robes were given to every one of them, it was said, and that they should rest a little season until their fellow servants and their brethren should be killed as they were should be fulfilled."

So God's talking about a future martyrdom in the fifth seal, a three and a half year period of tribulation. And what He's saying here is that there's going to be more people coming.

Look at verse 9 and verse 14. "And after this beheld a great multitude which no one can number, all nations, and kindreds, and people. And tongues that stood before the throne of the Lamb clothed with white robes and palms in their hands."

Now this is very important because here, now, we see an innumerable multitude of people coming out of the tribulation that we just read, that three and a half years period of time. And what did they do? Look at verse 14. "He said to me, These are they which came out of Great Tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

It's telling us that there's a future resurgence back to God of people who will be repenting, who will wash their robes in the blood of Jesus Christ. And one of the things that has to be done is, we must understand what is sin? "Sin is the transgression of the law" (1 John 3:4).

One of the laws of God is the Sabbath Day. This is one of the most trampled of all the rest of the Commandments of God.

In other words, they have come to the truth in the middle of the Tribulation, a huge amount of people.

I believe what we're looking at, and this is why I call it the shadow, that we are in the shadow of the fifth seal. That fifth seal is showing martyrdom that's coming. The first thing that God does when He brings people out of tribulation or spiritually speaking, out of the bondage of Egypt, He brings them to His commandments to keep the Sabbath Day.

And so you will see, and I believe that's where we're at right now, is beginning a resurgence so that when all of these things come to pass, they will remember. And God says he brings to remembrance things that they have heard that's going to bring them to this stage of Revelation 9 verse 14, washing their robes in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Now that is one of the hallmarks, that's one of the foundation and pillars of this message that we bring today, that we bring through News Nuggets and Insights, is warning people to repent, to return to God because Jesus Christ is coming back.

And this is all going to be over. It's all going to be over and we'll start a whole new world, fresh, without the pain and the suffering that we have today, under the leadership of our King, Jesus Christ.

Now look at this in Exodus 16:22 and 23, "And so it was, on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as much bread."

This is after they came out of Egypt. They came out of Egypt and they were complaining that they were hungry.

The first thing God does is He introduces His Sabbath Day.

Verse 23, "Then he said to them, "This is what the LORD has said: 'Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the LORD. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.'"

Now, if you go back into that chapter and you read all those verses, 11 through 21, do not stop at 22 and 23. As you will see, God said that they go gather every day and what was left at the end of the day is spoiled.

But on the Sabbath day, whatever was left of the twice they gathered, it didn't spoil. So that was a miracle every seven days for 40 years that they were in the wilderness. So that's the amazing thing that, and God said, "I gave that to you to try you, whether you would obey me or not."

So what we're looking at, I really believe is that warning message about the house of Israel. If they repent and come back to God, the first thing they'll have to do is recognize the Sabbath day.
