What is the Truth about Climate Change?
By: Tom Kerry
When we consider understanding God's Holy Word, we find He uses different methods at different times to make His point. One of the most amazing ways is often God will draw us incredibly visual pictures of what He is wanting to convey to us. One of the most visually stunning Bible passages for our time using this method is found in the warnings from the prophet Isaiah. It is absolutely inescapable the warning picture that God has painted of our nation today. We find it embedded into a larger warning for our nation at the beginning of God's instructions to Isaiah.
Look at what God has put together in Isa 1:7 ."Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers."
When you read this you have to wonder if God literally had California in His mind for the end time Israel when He inspired Isaiah to record this. Visually, it is impossible to disconnect from the events taking place with the fires, and the migrant crisis taking place right before our very eyes.
Keep in mind when reading this, or observing the picture God painted in Isaiah that California continues to lead the nation in the way of sins and disobedience to God's Holy Word. And let us also keep in mind, that Satan controls the power of the airways. At the heart of it all, in California is Hollywood, sending out its plethora of filth and disgust to a perverse nation.
It's no wonder they are immersed in the migrant crisis with wave after wave of caravans of new migrants heading to their borders. And now they are burdened under with severe droughts that for many years has left the land dry and fires are now over taking the cities as Isaiah said they would. The world would have you believe that in all of this is climate change and Donald Trump is the main culprit. But I have to ask, is that what the Bible tells us is going on?
Truth Behind Climate Change
According to the most recent analysis from the so-called informed scientists, we are only approximately 12 years from the place of no return for our planet. At that point we will have passed the limit of the planet's temperature of 1.5C', the place they call "the point of no return." The big concern is, we are told we could be there in less than 12 years (to 2030)..
All of these reports over the decades continue to change. In the 1970's we were continually bombarded with the warnings that the ice age was coming. One of the sources of this idea was the 1971 paper by Stephen Schneider, then a climate researcher at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland, US. Schneider's paper suggested that the cooling effect of dirty air could outweigh the warming effect of carbon dioxide, potentially leading to an ice age if aerosol pollution quadrupled.
At that time, that scenario was seen as plausible by many other scientists, because the planet had been in a cooling trend from the 1940s to the 1980's. Furthermore, it had also become clear that the interglacial period we were in was lasting an unusually long time. But then something changed; temperatures began reversing. The planet was no longer bringing us to modern day ice age, but all of a sudden we were on the path to a global meltdown of excessive heat. Exactly why this was taking place wasn't exactly clear nevertheless. it was happening. Many scientists were scrambling to find a good reason and there were many possibilities that were brought forth.
Finally, we come to the era we live in today. It is the era of the catch all phrase that no matter what happens to the temperature of the planet, or even what weather event takes place, it all falls into the category called "Climate Change." They have now found a way to predict everything related to weather. If it's too hot - it's climate change, if it's too cold -- it's climate change. Floods, droughts, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, no matter what happens - it's climate change.
Cause and Effect
Do you think that Satan knows of the laws of cause and effect? Do you think he is aware of what the scriptures tells us? Of course he does; probably better than you and I, and that's why he is so easily was able to corrupt them and use them to deceive man. Remember when Jesus went through the tempting of 40 days and 40 nights? When Satan came to Him, he was quoting the scriptures to Christ. From the very beginning in the Garden of Eden, Satan has been misapplying God's Word to Eve. Satan knows them well, but of course he misapplies them; but the point is. he knows them well. Satan is the master of lies, deceit, and deception. Thus he takes the scriptures, knowing full and well the cause and effect of blessings for obedience, and curses for disobedience and uses the very warnings from God to deceive mankind.
What does that have to do with Climate Change? Satan is fully aware of Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28, these are the chapters that we refer to as the blessings and cursing's chapters. Satan is aware of God's warnings in those two chapters; He understands that the more and more he is able to have mankind sin, the greater and greater they will receive God's penalties from those sins. When you read these two chapters, you find that often God uses an accelerating cause and effect. It is one of the ways God uses to give man opportunity to repent for their sins. Look at Leviticus 26.
Lev 26:15-30 And if you shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that you will not do all my commandments, but that you break my covenant: 16 I also will do this unto you; 1 will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 And I will set my face against you, and you shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and you shall flee when none pursues you.18 And if you will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. 19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: 20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. 21 And if you walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins. 22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your highways shall be desolate. 23 And if you will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me: 24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins. 25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when you are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you: and you shall he delivered into the hand of the enemy. 26 And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and you shall eat, and not be satisfied. And if you will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me: 28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. 29 And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall you eat. 30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you. 31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors. 32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall he astonished at it. 33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. 34 Then shall the land enjoy her Sabbaths, as long as it lies desolate, and you be in your enemies' land: even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her Sabbaths. 35 As long as it lies desolate it shall rest: because it did not rest in your Sabbaths, when you dwelt upon it."
Climate Change Versus the Land Sabbath Rest
One of the keys to understanding the curses versus Climate Change is revealed in the disobedience to the land. God gave specific instructions that we are to have a land rest every seven years and a Jubilee rest every 50 years. Because of man's greed and disobedience, this law has been totally forgotten. Thus, the land has become barren, and the environmental stress is growing. Notice verse 34 from Lev. 26 from above; ultimately God removes man, "and then the land shall enjoy her rest." The land then begins to heal and the climate returns to the natural order of things as God created it. Another tremendous point is that we find the earth rich and abundant at the end of the millennial reign with Christ.
Look at Romans 8:22, "For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now."
One of the ways that the climate changes is through our disobedience, when that happens, God says He will withhold His rains in due season. Weather patterns shift, and the environment changes. A prime example of how that happens is found with the children of Israel to the Promised Land, "A land flowing with milk and honey." But when we view that same land at the time of Christ, it had become almost a wasteland. It remained that way until Israel reestablished the land in 1948. Until then the land was desolate, a barren wilderness. Through generations of sin, the land became barren. Look at that same Promised Land today in Israel's hands. Many areas are rich in abundance, then compare the rest of the area still in the Arabs hands, still utterly bare.
It is easy to understand the changes in climate and weather conditions when there isn't any rain. Without rain comes famines and pestilence. Without rain, the ground suffers, the tectonic plates sift, earthquakes, Tsunamis, etc., and etc.
Satan knows that there is nothing he can do to stop the penalties for the sins he is actually orchestrating to come upon mankind. The truth is he doesn't want to change them because it all plays into his end time master plan. There is a phrase that says, "if you can't beat them, join them." He knows that he cannot stop the penalties that God ordained, so he uses the penalties and shifts the cause and blame. Thus, he has rewritten what the world describes as climate change, and now, he is rewriting who will take the blame for it all. Satan is the father of all sins, and through deceiving man, he has created the ultimate way to unite the entire world that will eventually come against God's elect and fight Jesus Christ at His second coming.
These weather patterns and the changes in our climate will continue to worsen. There is no amount of work, efforts of mankind, or money that will be able to stop them. Oh yes, let me not forget before I end this article, the cost. The same report that says we have only 12 years before it's too late to save the world, also tells us that collectively the world will need to come up with approximately 2.3 TRILLION Dollars to make it work. Any wonder why the rest of the world became so angry with President Trump for withdrawing from the climate accord?
The truth is, there is only one way to restore this planet to the way that God had originally re-created it as found in Genesis 1, REPENTENCE! It is only through repentance to God the creator of all creation that can put things back to where they belong. God has called us to warn the world that this is the only way. To silence that voice, Satan will eventually turn his wrath upon God's elect. When that happens we don't need to live in fear and concern, but rather, as God's Holy Word tells us, that when we see that day coming, lift up your heads and know that Salvation draws near.

This article was first written in 2018. It was the beginning of the science activists pushing the end time scenario of the world by 2030. This insight opened the doors for deeper and greater understanding of God's end time Shemitahs, and the Pope's rise to power in restoring the Holy Roman Revival. When you read the article, you will see that it is more relevant today than when it was written in 2018.
